I hope you find some interesting stories, useful information, quotes, pictures or links on this site that add to your day.
I am currently loving training and racing triathlons in Europe. Triathlon is a lifestyle, not just a sport. Besides requiring three sporting disciplines, it extends the body, mind and spirit in many positive ways.
It has been a catalyst for my family to come and live in the French Alps, leaving our Sydney beachside suburban life behind for a year or three. So far the transition and adventures this has brought have been interesting, challenging and on the whole, wonderful. Come and look around and enjoy some of the ride. Bienvenue.
There is no use trying, said Alice; one can’t believe impossible things. I dare say you haven’t had much practice, said the Queen. When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

Rob is my Crew Chief, masseur, director sportif pour enfants, husband and general star in my life. This is his space.
NOTE: As the Crew Chief has been working hard both at home and work and taking us all skiing in between these activities, there are not so many updates here lately.

My two Jedis aka Jackson (9) and Liam (6) have their say on living in France, travelling around Europe and major issues in their lives, like why does the mouse that lives in our basement prefer sports bars and pasta to cheese? Why indeed?
My return to triathlon started 3 years ago with a desire to raise some money for a research cause that I care deeply about, Duchene's Muscular Dystrophy. Please read Jamie's Journey. It highlights values most triathlete's respect and wish to develop; flexibility of mind and body, courage, endurance and strength. Finding the joy along the road of a hard journey.
If you find it to be a compelling story, please assist Jamie and boys like him by donating to your local Muscular Dystrophy Research Foundation. Links are attached on Jamie's site.
